B2B Badminton Club

The craze for any sports builds up with the achievements we gain at national or international level. And badminton is one of them, which recently grabbed the attention of Million Indian souls when P.V. Sindhu won a silver for India at a huge level I must say "Rio Olympics".

I am very pleased to introduce one such club that has come up and formed a badminton club at a local stage. It includes the lovers and players of badminton within a residence society, most catching is that it has players of all the ages from 40s to 30s to 20s and teenagers as well. Every individual has its own flavor of shots and has a different level of play but still they play together to improve.

If badminton can help people come together and play this beautiful game, I don't think anything better than this can happen. Looking forward to see how the club progresses.

I would request all the visitors also to share their Clubs, so that we can display it at a large level.

All the Best!! B2B Badminton Club.. Cheers!! Way to go..

Badminton Court

Looks complicated but its easy to understand the court.

Singles:

The side gallery on both the sides i.e. right and left (while facing net) is eliminated from the court while playing singles game.

The Third gallery i.e. the back gallery on both the side in included while serving as well as while the game is on.

Doubles:

It includes the complete court while the game is on let it be side galleries or back galleries.

Whereas while serving, the third gallery i.e. back gallery is excluded.

Short Line:

The line nearest to the net on both the sides is called short line.
While serving anything between the net and this line is called short service and you lose a point for it.

Seven Wonders representing India in Rio Olympics

Saina Nehwal  and PV Sindhu will represent the Women's single.

Saina Nehwal being injured in the recent past, recovered well to be fit for the Rio and has done good recently as well in Asia Badminton Championship 2016 where she bagged a Bronze.

PV Sindhu is the shining star of Indian Badminton so all eyes will be on her as well. She can upset the big names in the tournament.

Kidambi Srikanth, the lone warrior representing Men's single. He will be proud and confident to lead the men's single department. He is not a player who will be taken easily as he has once stunned Lin Dan in the China Open in 2014.

We will surely miss the young, energetic and promising performer Parupalli Kashyap. He went under Surgrey last month and couldn't appear in the big tournaments resulting in the downfall of the rankings. So we will miss him this time.

Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa will represent women's doubles, while Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy will represent men's doubles in Rio.

All The Best to Seven wonders of Indian Badminton and wish they wonder the world with their performances.

Asia Badminton Championships 2016

Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei, World no. 2 defeats World No. 1 Chen Long of China 21-17, 15-21, 21-13
This is his second badminton Asia Championship, first being ten years ago in 2006, seems "6" being his lucky number and eventually he has hit a six in the match as well.

This is his third title this year and I am sure he will put many more in his bag.

A true champion reached the finals by beating Lin Dan World No. 3 and then finishing the top of the podium with a convincing win.

Historical Rally

Stunning win by Japanese pair Kurumi Yonao and Naoko Fukuman against Indonesia’s Greysia Polii and Nitya Krishinda Maheswari in the women's doubles semi-finals. It took them two hour, 41 minutes to grab a place in the finals.

They will now take on Misaki Matsutomo and Ayaka Takahashi not only to win a final but to book a place in rio.

The score line 13-21 21-19 24-22 shows the pressure both team faced to book a seat in the finals.

Historical Rally!! I must say....

Happy Diwali 2019!!
