It was a well fought match among Sameer Verma (India) and Shi Yuqi (China). Though Sameer won the first set easily (21-14) and was leading the second set (21-19) before Shi Yuqi took the second set to 20-20 and won it 22-20. Shi Yuqi took the lead in third set from the beginning (15-10) and end it winning 21-17.Second set was the turnaround of the match when Sameer needed only one point to win the set and match. But Shi Yuqi kept calm and took the set to 20-20 and later on winning the third set as well.
